The project was part of the ODA’s Olympic Games Legacy Project in Stratford, East London which involved the reconfiguration of the Athlete’s Village into apartments. There were 427 apartments in total with a mixture of homes for rent, shared ownership and outright sale.

Project Overview
R K Joinery worked in 12 of the apartment blocks used for the Athlete’s Village, now collectively known as East Village. The apartments were reconfigured once the games were over. Each apartment was effectively fitted out again. The programme was very testing given our commitment to deliver approximately 25 units per week on average at the peak.
